Audun Lem illustrates some issues related to aquaculture to be discussed during the XV Session of COFI FT

Aquaculture contributes significantly to food security and economic growth: more than 50% of consumed fish comes from aquaculture, explains Audun Lem, Deputy Director of FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture Policy and Resources Division.

At the XV session of the FAO COFI FT (Sub-Committee on Fish Trade), among others, the discussion will touch topics as the need of revised guidelines for tracing fish from catch to market, and updating the list of endangered species.
