World Food Day Ceremony

While FAO Members States were celebrating World Food Day in their countries, the observance of the Day at Organization's Headquarters, in Rome, was attended by Guest of honour Jorge Luis Batlle Ibáñez, President of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Italian and Vatican authorities, world artists as FAO goodwill Ambassadors in the fight against hunger and representatives of world non governmental organisations and civil society.
