:: WFD 2007 Poster
The 2007 World Food Day poster is designed to "humanize" an otherwise abstract and difficult concept -- the Right to Food. Original art by Italian graphic artist Giancarlo DePol features three graceful human forms. These individuals are depicted together with colourful objects that symbolize food. Deliberately stylized, the image conveys the simple joy of having access to food -- whether through harvest, purchase or giving.
Fully formatted artwork for print PSAs -- based on the poster image above -- are available free of charge in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Italian and Spanish. Media outlets interested in publishing the PSA are encouraged to contact us (World-Food-Day@fao.org) with your page specifications.
