Agroecological food system transformation offers a promising solution to addressing the challenges of the global food system. Yet, comprehensive evidence of agroecological practices, guided by the ten elements of agroecology, remains limited and fragmented. This paper presents a groundbreaking global overview of diverse agricultural production systems and their progress toward agroecological transformation. The insights are derived using the Tool for Agroecology Performance Evaluation (TAPE), providing a valuable first look into the worldwide application and impact of agroecological principles.
