Call for Application for Secondary School Teacher ERAs in Malawi
Access Agriculture is empowering young entrepreneurs and educators to bridge the knowledge gap in sustainable farming through digital innovation. By equipping individuals with smart projectors—solar-powered, offline video hubs—this initiative ensures that practical, high-quality training reaches even the most remote communities.
Through the Entrepreneurs for Rural Access network, small business owners and rural changemakers are using these tools to expand their enterprises while providing critical agricultural knowledge. The Young Entrepreneur Challenge Fund further supports women and youth in making farming a viable business, leveraging ICT solutions like mobile finance and social media.
Now, in collaboration with Slow Food Movement Malawi, the project is integrating agroecological learning into schools in Lilongwe and Mzimba. Teachers are invited to propose innovative ways to use smart projectors to develop school gardens and extend their impact to local communities. This initiative is not just about technology—it’s about fostering sustainable livelihoods and shaping the future of farming education.
