FAO plays a key role in addressing AMR and the use of antimicrobials within the context of sustainable agrifood systems transformation. This includes animal production, animal health and welfare, aquaculture, marine resources, plant production and protection, biodiversity and restoration of nature, forestry, food safety, land, water and soil management.
