HLPE-FSN drafting teams

The HLPE-FSN has two main components:

Gear
  1. A Steering Committee composed of internationally recognized experts in a variety of food security and nutrition‐related fields.
  2. Drafting teams acting on a project‐specific basis.

Teams are selected based on a rigorous selection process, which includes general principles of scientific and technical relevance, as well as regional expertise.

Serving in their personal capacities, they engage with the HLPE-FSN Steering Committee. Furthermore, selected experts are co-authors of the HLPE-FSN flagship reports and participate in the CFS public debate as part of the HLPE-FSN.

The selected international experts bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to specific projects they are assigned to. Their collective expertise ensures that reports provide a comprehensive and nuanced analysis.
