Objectives:

1. Participants will gain practical lessons in how governments can adopt open and transparent systems in land governance for the benefit of land stakeholders, which increases food security and nutrition.
2. Participants will hear from leading women voices on how better governance of land acquisitions can enable government operationalization of the VGGT for the benefit of stakeholders, including indigenous peoples.
3. Participants will hear about new and innovative initiatives from leading authorities that are contributing to improved land governance.

Objectives:

1. Outcomes of panel discussion could contribute not only to future work of CFS, but it could be also forwarded as contribution to UN Summit on Food Systems to facilitate discussion on main topics on food safety and nutrition.
2. Presentation of the report on Healthy nutrition in the Russian Federation.
3. Sharing best practices on achieving SDGs on nutrition, addressing challenges in the areas of food systems, healthy diets, food safety and nutrition.

Objectives:

1. To identify opportunities and actions needed to scale up agricultural innovation in the lead up to UNFCCC COP26, including through the COP26 Nature Campaign, UN Food Systems Summit and COP15 of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
2. To share experiences and best practice approaches to transform agri-food systems to enhance their climate resilience and sustainability.
3. To understand how this scaling up can help the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) implement its policy recommendations on agroecological and other innovative approaches.
4. To raise ambition on investment in agricultural innovation based on evidence-based approaches and a continuous, inclusive dialogue among key institutions in the lead up to COP26.

Objectives:

1. Be informed on how other initiatives have integrated CFS Products into their work.
2. Hear from stakeholders why business alignment of monitoring frameworks, such as CFS Products and other initiatives, are crucial to realise more impact.
3. By organizing this event we will demonstrate the impact of several CFS Products. The event will give us insights into challenges with regard to alignment or implementation and how these could be remedied.

Objectives:

1. Exchange of information: the TPP initiative will be launched and participants will learn about how to engage with it.
2. We aim at getting large feedback from stakeholders on their challenges on the ground, and therefore on the future priorities for implementation of agroecological transitions, and work areas of the TPP.
3. We aim at fostering a coalition of interested stakeholders, including donors and beneficiary countries around resolving knowledge and development gaps.

Objectives:

1. Raise awareness about ongoing initiatives to align private sector practices and reporting with the SDGs.
2. Contribute to discussions on a harmonized framework for SDG reporting between public and private entities.
3. Better understanding of key barriers to uptake/use of existing indicators/tools.
4. Identify multistakeholder opportunities to collaborate on improving measurement and reporting on SDG progress.
5. Increase accountability from the private sector on SDG alignment.

Objectives:

1. Learn about initiatives based on agroecological techniques, sustainable production of peasant family farming, and women and youth enterprises.
2. Understand how these experiences contribute to improving resilience and autonomy, even in times of crisis and in the fight against hunger, malnutrition and poverty.
3. Show the strategic value of the markets that are built from agro-diversity, social awareness, participation, geographic and organizational proximity, and their role in promoting sustainable food systems.
4. The importance of the articulations and synergies between the actions of national governments with the work and approaches of other key actors to face multidimensional crisis scenarios.

Objectives:

1. Young people can discuss with CFS members and stakeholders issues related to its ongoing program of work:
   1. An opportunity for youth to identify actions needed to be taken to help support the uptake of CFS products.
   2. The CFS is able to take stock of concerns from young people related to food systems and cross-cutting issues (climate change and biodiversity) for ongoing/future work.
2. Young people are recognised as an important stakeholder at all levels in decision making and action on food systems, to produce healthy, nutritious food in a sustainable way for both people and the planet.
