I hold a PhD degree in Science (Avignon University, France), a M.Sc. degree in Plant Biology and a B.Sc. degree in Biology (both at Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil), emphasis in Botany, Conservation and Restoration Ecology. During my PhD I developped my work with the following research groups in France, Germany, Australia and Brazil: Natural and Cultural Restoration Engineering (UAPV, France), Ecology and Conservation (University of Western Australia), Institute for Botany (University of Regensburg, Germany) and Ecology and Evolution of Tropical Plants (UFMG, Brazil). I’m currently a Post-doc researcher at the Center for Ecological Synthesis and Conservation (Federal Uninversity of Minas Gerais, Brazil). My skills include expertise in i) experimental designs, ii) plant taxonomy, ecology and phisiology, iii) biostatistics, iv) field data collection in terrestrial and wetland systems, v) ecological connectivity and vi) resilience of plant communities. Additionally, I have over 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting, during which I improved management and technical skills, including technical management, knowledge of environmental legislation, strategic planning in relation to environmental impacts, public presentations and outsourcing material for diverse audiences.
