Caterina Au is a seasoned professional in technology development and adoption with a diverse background in policy research, software engineering and project management, and management consulting. From her technical roots, Au ventured into policy research focusing on the interaction of technology and policy, knowledge-based systems of innovation, and public private partnership. Au was previously statistician of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC). Among the organizations that Au had served are GTE, the Gartner Group, Ogilvy & Mather, the US Department of Agriculture and the Asian Development Bank. Au’s goal is to leverage her experience and knowledge to meet today’s multi-faceted innovation challenge, integrating key issues of policy, economics and technology. Au is a 2007 Fulbright Grantee and holds a bachelor degree in Mathematics from the Hollins University, a master degree in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology, a master degree in International Commerce and Policy and a doctoral degree in Public Policy from the George Mason University.
