Since by way of description, e-agriculture helps to showcase the modernized form of agriculture; that agriculture and its mode of operations can no longer be ‘limited’ within a certain locality, town, state or country and takes time to be seen or noticed by others in far distant areas but traverses towns and countries within a short period of time as a result of information and communication technologies (ICTs). This helps to boost agricultural development by helping farmers to have access as-well-as improving farmers’ access to vital information for them to make the best decisions and use their resources sustainably. Some example of ICTs may include devices, networks, services and applications, including internet-based technologies and tools such as telephones, computers, mobiles, televisions, radio and satellites.
