I joined CABI in 2005 and have worked in agricultural information management and delivery since then. In my current role as Knowledge Bank Development Manager for the Plantwise programme I am responsible for finding, compiling and editing the most relevant evidence-based diagnostic, treatment, and distribution information on crop pests and diseases, and delivering this in the most practical and accessible format for extension workers and smallholder farmers. I work with partners across the world, particularly in Africa and Asia, to develop sustainable, integrated, processes for data collection and information sharing, facilitating stakeholders to make the best use of the information that is available to them, and helping farmers to grow more and lose less.
