My full name is 'SYED MOHAMMAD OVAIS {S M OVAIS}', currently associated with 'African Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO)', an intergovernmental international orgn, at its headquarters located at new Delhi, India. {URL: www.aardo.org}. I have an experience of 18 years working in the areas of Agricultural /Rural Development at AARDO and am currently holding the position of Director, Capacity Building. During research and after obtaining PhD in Commerce (Oil) with special reference to West Asia, I have been working on oil related issues and associated with academic institution where I taught Economics of West Asia with reference to Oil and Management at Bachelors and Masters' levels. I have contributed papers to the 15th World Petroleum Congresses, Beijing, China (Oct 1997) and 16th World Petroleum Congresses, Calgary, Canada (June 2000). Besides, contributed to a number of international conferences. Published Articles, Reports of international workshops/seminars/roundtables and co-authored a few books. I have attended and Coordinated a number of international seminars/conferences/workshops /roundtables etc on issues related to ‘Oil', Agriculture and Rural Development. I am a member of the Editorial Board of the African Asian Journal of Rural Development.
