:D India holds the largest cattle wealth. More than 50% buffalo is also in India. Even in sheep and goat its not behind any countries. However the percapita consumption of livestock products is one of the lowest. Natural growth of livestock contributes more than 30% of Agri GDP. Though the budget allocation is less than1% livestock sector contributes more than 5% of the GDP. The question is how to make the industry more lively and productive.
