World Food Safety Day webinar to discuss future strategies for the Italian food sector
A free webinar is being organized by Italian food association, PIGA Service, to discuss “critical issues and solutions of the current Italian food safety system”. The 7 June event will tackle three key areas of concern:
1. Food safety: the weak points of food safety in Italy
2. Sustainability of production processes and food waste: what is really being done in the sector
3. Recyclable and / or renewable packaging: state of the art and the near future
Recent adverse weather conditions and the global pandemic have revealed vulnerabilities in some of Italy’s most robust food sectors and this webinar is designed to debate key factors that can help to strengthen the nation’s food chains for the future.
