Celebration of World Food Safety Day 2023 at Mexico’s National Service of Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality
Mexico’s National Service of Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA), a decentralized administrative body of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Mexico, is pleased to announce that the General Directorate of Agrifood, Aquaculture and Fisheries Safety will hold the round table "5 calls for action on food safety" with representatives of the government, producers, processors, consumers and international bodies. The event will promote the presentation of perspectives from each sector, as well as the discussion and identification of opportunities for improvement to achieve each of the calls. In addition, there will be a rally and expo for food safety, in which attendees will be given a playful approach to different aspects of food safety, such as regulation, surveillance, use of technological tools for the safety of Mexican agrifood products.
The event will take place at the Integral Unit of Services, Diagnosis and Confirmation (UISDC) of SENASICA, located at Carretera Federal México-Pachuca km 37.5 C. P. 55740, Municipality of Tecámac, State of Mexico.
