Luciana Fukimoto Itikawa is the coordinator in Brazil of the "Integrated Study in Urban Agriculture as Heritage", an international cooperation project between Brazil, Germany, Cuba, Japan and Indonesia at the University of Sao Paulo. Researcher at Institute of Advanced Studies from the University of Sao Paulo. Post-doctorate at the Institute of Brazilian Studies and a doctorate at School of Architecture and Urban Planning the University of São Paulo, which included a research period at Columbia University and the University of California, Los Angeles, through the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Research interests include Urban Agriculture, GIAHS, Gender, Climate Changes, Urban inequalities and Intersectionalities.
