The 30th Session of the Committee on Agriculture (COAG) will be held from 20-24 July 2026 at FAO headquarters, Rome, Italy in a hybrid modality

The biennial session of COAG brings together Ministers for Agriculture, Livestock, Natural Resource Management, food safety and nutrition and other relevant areas, Members Representatives, as well as FAO partners to exchange and provide strategic direction for FAO's work towards advancing better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life, through the transformation to MORE efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable agrifood systems, leaving no one behind. During the 2026 Session, delegates will engage in discussions covering a wide range of matters aligned with the COAG mandate. These will include fostering innovation in food security, bioeconomy, One Health, advancing climate resilience, sustainable use and conservation of biodiversity, and sustainable land and water management, the Global Plan of Action for Sustainable Livestock Transformation, as well as women, youth, family farmers and smallholders as agents of rural development and poverty reduction.
