Receiving WFD Certificate from H.E. Princess Sirindhorn

The Princess of the Royal Kingdom of Thailand, Her Excellency Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, presented to Mongolia's Ms. Oyunchimeg and award for 2016 World Food Day in Bangkok. World Food Day commemorates the founding of the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization and recalls its mandate to work for sufficient and healthy food for all through working together among member countries.

Ms. Oyunchimeg has been recognized for her commitment to increasing vegetable production through her work as head of the Greenhouse Growers Association. Greenhouses are contributing hugely to vegetable production and in turn to diversified healthy and safe food diets for all Mongolians.

Her work has received support from the Government of Mongolia especially through the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and the UNFAO with support of South-South Cooperation experts from China.
