وافق مجلس الصندوق الأخضر للمناخ على ثلاثة مشاريع جديدة صممتها المنظمة في كل من الأرجنتين وغواتيمالا والسودان بقيمة إجمالية قدرها 158.6 ملايين دولار أمريكي بغرض التخفيف من وطأة انبعاثات غازات الاحتباس الحراري وتعزيز القدرة على الصمود في وجه تغير المناخ ومكافحة إزالة الغابات.

استفادت اليوم الحاجة إلى إجراءات متضافرة لمنع تحول حالة الطوارئ الصحية الدولية نتيجة جائحة كوفيد-19 إلى أزمة غذائية عالمية كارثية، من أداة جديدة تمثلت في إطلاق منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة (المنظمة) رسميًا التحالف من أجل الغذاء.
