The FAO Pesticide Registration Toolkit elected as a SDG Good Practice!
The FAO Pesticide Registration Toolkit Team is very proud to announce that the Toolkit has been approved as a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Good Practice in June 2021 by experts of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA). This is an international recognition that the Toolkit goal, contents and training activities are contributing to achieving SDGs.

The Toolkit has been selected during the second open call for SDG good practices, success stories and lessons learned in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The purpose of the call was to highlight examples of good practices, including those that could be replicated or scaled-up by others across the globe.
The FAO Pest and Pesticide Management team is also very honored that other FAO pesticide-related activities have also been selected as SDG good practices, notably on Farmer Field Schools (FFS): https://sdgs.un.org/partnerships/farmer-field-schools-ffs
