Kamere Housing Bodaboda Group in Olkaria ward, Naivasha subcounty, Nakuru County ventured into chick hatching and rearing to diversify their income after receiving their incubators and othe accessories from the local government.

The group has been able to easily link themselves to the market, selling their month old chicks as well as being contracted by other farmers to hatch, as they advertise and sell to their clients using word of mouth.

They have managed to change their mindset and that of their local community and are now trainers and farmers as opposed to being rowdy, a common perceived trait of most riders.
