With the support of the UN-REDD Programme, experts from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru gathered in the city of Florencia, in the Colombian Amazon, to discuss forest degradation monitoring and sustainability. They emphasized the importance of knowledge sharing, teamwork, and improving monitoring methods.  
Organized by FAO within the framework of the UN-REDD Programme, this webinar launched the “Comparative study of carbon rights in the context of jurisdictional REDD+  - Case studies from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin-America and the Caribbean”. The event offered a unique platform to share experiences and insights.
