This conference will take place from 27 to 28 March 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the aim of raising awareness of the impacts of changing demographics on the global demand and supply of food, and highlighting how food systems are transforming by linking rural to urban markets

and responding to changing food preferences, especially in urban areas of developing countries. The conference will showcase selected best practices in three focus areas: i) scaling technology and innovation for agriculture: ii) improving the sustainability and food security of urban markets; and iii) facilitating links between rural and urban parts of supply chains.
