On 17 March a special race will cross the heart of Rome, starting from the Fori Imperiali, passing by Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza di Spagna, and up to the Colosseum. This event aims to support Italy in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and will launch a call to action for the future of food, people and the planet.
The race will be dedicated to water, a precious natural resource threatened by rapid population growth, economic development and climate change. Therefore, FAO supports ACEA in this initiative as it reflects the World Food Day 2023 theme 'Water is life, water is food. Leave no one behind'.
