As part of a partnership with Roma Capitale, the FAO Park's Global Library of Trees and Flowers will engage schools and the public to learn from nature and cultivate a greater understanding of our planet's biodiversity, promoting a deeper appreciation for the vital role trees and plants play in sustaining life. More than 90 trees and plant species representing all regions of the world will be planted in a designated area of Villa Pamphilj Park.
The symbolic gesture of planting trees and developing this initiative embodies the global unity and collective action needed to promote a more sustainable and food-secure world. It serves as a reminder that only by joining forces can we address the pressing global challenges we all face and achieve the 2030 Agenda.
