This online course, organized by Ecologistas en Acción will make a tour of different proposals of the peasant movement such as food sovereignty, agroecology or fair trade, paying special attention to specific initiatives and experiences that currently are offering alternatives to such system. The course will take place from the 23 April to 4 June 2020.

In addition, throughout the course will investigate the impacts of the industrial food on health; and will especially try to make visible the role of women in feeding their families and communities, as well as some of the concrete manifestations of the structural inequality that rural women endure.
