OBJECTIVES   Acute Food Insecurity Situation (October 2018)
FAO is working with partners of the Food Security Cluster to:   Acute food insecurity (October 2018)
  • Improve the availability and access to food for vulnerable, severely food‑insecure people
  • Strengthen the resilience of vulnerable populations against food crises, and support the recovery of livelihoods and emergency agricultural production
  • Increase needs assessments, monitoring and early warning mechanisms, and ensure access to information on the evolving food security situation.
