Childhood diet and behavioural change the focus of World Food Safety Day events in Fiji

World Food Safety Day was celebrated in a high-level event in Suva, Fiji on 7 June. Ojasvini Naik is an 11-year-old girl studying in Grade 6 in Mumbai, India. Since early childhood, she has been accompanying her mother to primary schools for food safety training for the workers who prepare mid-day meals for school children. On 7 June, FAO in Albania celebrated World Food Safety Day in collaboration with the EU-funded Food Safety Project and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
