I am establishing and managing multicultural teams of Plant pathologists, Agronomist, Biologist, Extension workers, ICT Specialists, and Soil/ Climate scientists, to develop geo-spatial decision making tools, software and mobile phone apps for crops management and to improving agriculture and livestock production. My work encompasses the development and application of advanced data analytics and approaches like data/model fusion to enhance agriculture transformation. I am providing leadership in connecting digital agriculture research and concepts from within and external to CGIAR, contributing to the overall agriculture research effort for high impact knowledge transfer and adoption. I lead the development of novel ways of using mobile phones, open source servers and apps to collect, curate, process and share data at large scale. I am skillful in data wrangling, modelling and visualization; conducting and managing innovative and multidisciplinary researches, writing reports and manuscripts. I particular focus on :
• Developing models that link mathematical, physical and statistical principles and transferring outputs into technologies to service clients such as farmers.
• Managing complex projects and pioneering innovation by connecting data to algorithm and ICT.
• Data analysis using machine learning (artificial neural networks, support vectors machines, random forests etc.) and developing data storage tools.
• Creating, documentation, and maintaining tools for data manipulation and visualization.
• Programming in modern computer language such as C++, R and Java Scripts.
• Establishing and maintaining public and private sectors partnerships; I worked with private company to improve the performance of mobile phone apps;
• Leading teams towards producing product and solving problems;
