The FAO Representation in Georgia and the Government of Georgia signed COUNTRY PROGRAMMING FRAMEWORK FOR GEORGIA 2016-2020, which established the broad commitment of FAO to assist the Government of Georgia in its efforts to achieve national development objectives. The CPF has four priority areas: Institutional development, Regional and sectoral development – value chain development, Food safety, veterinary and plant protection and Climate Change, Environment and Biodiversity.
