IUSS Centennial Celebration and Congress | May 19-21, 2024 - Florence, Italy
Established in 1924, the International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) is the global union of soil scientists which promotes all branches of soil science and that supports soil scientists across the world in the pursuit of their activities. In 2024 the IUSS is celebrating its centenary contribution to both nature and human wellbeing
The event, which will be held in Florence on May 19th, and will be followed by two intense days of conferences, is going to address civil society needs within agriculture, forestry, environment, urban planning, energy, education, and other societal issues. Between plenary and parallel scientific sessions, scientists and specialists from different disciplines will participate in each session, focusing both on past achievements and future challenges.
