FAO organised a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) workshop, on December 21, 2023 at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, to develop a framework which will ensure compliance with strategies, objectives and approaches of transitioning to sustainable agrifood systems.

Thirty-five officers from the Department of Agriculture and Horticulture, Government of Andhra Pradesh participated in the workshop. The workshop participants discussed the M&E objectives, identified core indicators of outcome and impact, reviewed existing M&E tools for farmer field schools (FFS), and agreed on the need to update FFS-Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) M&E tools.
