2010 Conference on Food Security: "Food Security: Strategies for a Malnourished Planet," 26 March 2010
Organized by the NYU Wagner School of Public Service's International Public Service Association

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations was invited by the New York University Wagner School of Public Service to speak at its International Public Service Association's 2010 Conference on Food Security on 26 March 2010. 

Mr. Javier Molina-Cruz, Liaison Officer, FAO Liaison Office with the United Nations, participated in the second plenary session of the conference with the theme "Teh Roles of International Agencies and NGOs." and joined other panelists Ms. Penelope Anderson, Head of Food Security at Mercy Corps and Mr. John Coonrod, Vice President for Strategy and Impact at The Hunger Project. Mr. Molina-Cruz' presententation focused on the role of FAO and its engagement/responses in the food crisis, its challenges, and its interaction/cooperation with other policymakers, donors and governments.
