World Conference of Science Journalists

FAONILE exhibited some of its products at the 5th World Conference of Science Journalists held April 16-20, 2007, in Melbourne-Australia. The package -- carried to Australia by Environmental journalist William Odinga Balikuddembe -- included posters of “Blue Water Resources in the Nile Basin,” “Observed Biomass Production,” and “Demand Scenarios for Agricultural Produce in the Nile Basin for 2030.” Copies of the scenario elevators speeches and scenario logics were also distributed to some participants. Over 600 journalists and scientists attended the conference, organized by the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) and the Australian Science Communicators (ASC).
