Follow Up to Second Scenario Expert Meeting

Immediately prior to PSC3, a one-day regional workshop is organized on the “Scenarios for Demand of Agricultural Produce in the Nile Basin for 2030”. The event will take place on 2 April 2007 in Cairo, Egypt.

Using the improved and validated scenario logics, the workshop will focus on assessing implications and leverage points. The workshop will also examine challenges in each of the 4 scenarios, as well as the risk of inaction - in the short, medium, and long term.

Workshop participants include all PSC members and selected experts from the Nile countries and FAO.
