FAO and BUITEMS are co-hosting Promoting SDG8 to Develop Agri-Entrepreneurship for Balochistan Youth, an event to raise awareness and promote SDG8 among youth hosted on BUITEMS campus on 4 December in Quetta. Through their work, both FAO and BUITEMS have shown commitment and on-the-ground results in support of SDG8.  
Sustainable Development Goal 8 - Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all – is important to both the FAO and the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS). This Goal focuses on reducing rural poverty through economic growth arising from decent employment. This is especially relevant for Balochistan.
The Event features: an interesting panel discussion with Representatives from the Government of Balochistan, BUITEMS, FAO, ILO, UNIDO and UNDP; insights from Baloch agri-entrepreneurs who will share their successful experiences; and, Exhibit spaces to highlight ongoing efforts and foster networking.
