Situated in the municipality of Itaberá, the Panela Cheia Agroecological Farm cultivates vegetables, fruits, and medicinal plants using an integrated agroforestry system. Over time, the farm has become a vital community center, showcasing how agroecology can foster resilience and empowerment among rural women in Brazil. Through SIANI’s second case study in the series “Amplifying Stories of Agroecology Principles and Practices” (ASAPP), the focus is on Nazaré’s journey and the influence of social movements in promoting agroecological progress.
