全球环境基金理事会第63次会议决定，由联合国粮食及农业组织（粮农组织）和国际农业发展基金会（农发基金）将领导全球环境基金的粮食体系综合项目。该项目将投入约2.3亿美元，再加上额外共筹资金，用于支持各国农业粮食体系转型，使其更具可持续性，并在保护生物多样性、防治土地退化、减缓和适应气候变化及促进国家粮食安全方面带来全球环境效益。

 The Global Environment Facility (GEF) announced a US $5.25 billion replenishment for GEF-8, the next four-year phase of the GEF.  A nearly 30 percent over GEF-7, it will be the largest replenishment in the history of the GEF.
