During its 51st Plenary Session in 2023, CFS adopted its Multi-Year Programme of Work 2024 2027, including the “Collaborative governance for coordinated policy responses to emerging global food crises towards sustainable agriculture and food system transformation” workstream.
This workstream capitalizes on the CFS’ key role in strengthening coordinated global policy responses between relevant stakeholders, creating a space for examining and openly discussing the multiple dimensions of emerging food crises. Said discussions occur biannually, sharing experiences and providing information on existing initiatives, as well as facilitating exchanges on key issues propelling enhanced policy coordination and collaborative governance – emphasizing voices of the most affected countries and constituencies.
The outcomes of the biannual meetings will be captured in the Chair’s summary report which can be found here along with supporting documents.
CFS Secretariat Focal Points: Fatiha Terki, Marina Calvino and Alessandra Mora
