The United Nations proclaimed 21 March the International Day of Forests to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests. The theme for 2026 is "Forests and economies", proposed by the CPF for the 2026 celebration of the International Day of Forests (IDF) was supported by the Forum at UNFF20.
