How can monitoring and evaluation help agricultural heritage systems thrive over time? This webinar will explore Japan’s experience in monitoring and evaluating Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS), sharing practical approaches, key lessons learned and challenges encountered. It will also reflect on experiences from China and discuss how monitoring can support dynamic conservation, resilience, biodiversity and the long-term sustainability of agricultural heritage systems.
