Social Hackathon Umbria 2021: the annual appointment for digital co creation

Sustainability. This is the watchword of the Social Hackathon Umbria, organized by Fertitecnica Colfiorito and FAO that will be held from 1st to 4th July in the Colfiorito Natural Park and is focusing its digital challenges on the 17 UN goals for sustainable development. 

The main event of #SHU2021 is the Hackathon, which represents the final phase of the training course offered by the Social Hackademy Lab to over 100 young people from the Umbria Region. These young hackers will collaborate in co-design teams to support the solution givers selected through the call for innovative ideas focusing on the 17 UN goals for sustainable development. There will be four thematic areas on which the competing teams will work: #zerohuger #zerowaste, #zeroimpact, #zeroignorance.  

Theactivities open to the public will start on Friday 2 July with the opening of the SDGs Digital Village, stands and workshops running from 10 to 18 every day until Sunday 4 July, including digital experiences and augmented realities suitable for adults, teens and children. Other activities include a Colfiorito marsh with an electric off-road vehicle, two excursions to the Colfiorito swamp on Friday 2 July at 5 pm and Saturday 3 July at 9 am, a round table "Colfiorito 4 SDGs" with the participation of politicians and FAO representatives on Saturday 3 July starting at 9.30 and much more. Activities dedicated to children and their families are also planned.
