This interactive side event presented FAO’s Innovation Policy Labs (IPLs), a UN 2.0–aligned approach to inclusive, participatory, and evidence-informed policymaking, with a focus on digital transformation. Drawing on experiences from Ethiopia and Madagascar, it highlighted results and scaling challenges. Participants engaged in a foresight (backcasting) exercise and a behavioural experiment to explore different decision-making processes.
