Capacity Development

The ICT for agriculture is a fast growing sector and it is hard to keep up the pace with the new technologies and innovations. Throughout various forum discussions, members of the Community of Practice (COP) shared a clear message that there are not enough capacity development resources available to enable project and programme managers, extension agents or agents of the different Ministries involved to learn about the use of ICTs, its advantages and challenges. 

To respond to these needs, e-Agriculture organizes capacity development activities, with different learning objectives and using different formats. Each activity aims at increasing the knowledge of its members on important new and emerging trends, innovations or strategic issues regarding the use of ICTs for agriculture and rural development.
