The aim of the exercise is to test contingency plans, enhance and development of the mechanism for local-regional cooperation and surveillance organization.

The objectives of this exercise are:

• Testing the procedure for implementation of the response measures in case of FMD suspicion and confirmed outbreak.
• Testing procedure for depopulation in case of FMD outbreak on the medium size cattle farm.
• Creation of the national and regional/local teams for emergency response, communication channels, emergency response equipment distribution, roles and responsibilities.
