نواجه في يومنا هذا تراجعاً ملحوظاً في الأمن الغذائي، الأمن الصحي، الأمن الإقتصادي والمساواة.
من خلال الاعتراف بأهمية التعددية في معالجة أزمة كوكب الأرض الثلاثية - المناخ والطبيعة والتلوث - ستعمل استكهولم+ 50 كنقطة انطلاق لتسريع تنفيذ عقد الأمم المتحدة للعمل لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ، اتفاق باريس بشأن تغير المناخ ، الإطار العالمي للتنوع البيولوجي لما بعد عام 2020 ، وتشجيع اعتماد خطط التعافي الخضراء لما بعد جائحةكوفيد-19.
تشارك منظمة الأغذية والزراعة في قيادة عدد من الأحداث كشريك رئيسي في القضايا البيئية المتعلقة بالأنظمة الزراعية والغذائية. تكشف ثلاث وثائق لحوار القيادة، والتي شكلت جدول أعمال المؤتمر، عن الدور الرئيسي لأنظمة الأغذية الزراعية في معالجة الأزمات المتعددة التي يواجهها عالمنا.
