Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) act like a Producer Company of a group of farmers engaged in the production of primary produce. It assists farmers to adopt latest technologies in production and sell their products and compete in the market. The objective is to help in improving their income. e-PAHEL not only supports the formation of FPOs but also assists in running and sustaining them. e-PAHEL got registered Korapur Organic Products Producer Company Ltd under the Company Act, 2013 on July 6, 2016 as a producer company. It is a NABARD supported FPO. At Present, there are 314 farmersas shareholder in this FPO. This company working in gangapaar area (Phoolpur, Pratappur, Mauaima, etc) of Prayagraj. e-PAHEL is also in the process of formation of another FPO in Shankargarh block, Prayagraj.
