On Thursday, 12 June 2025, the Group of 77 and China - Rome Chapter, held its monthly Plenary Meeting at FAO headquarters. The agenda included discussions on the proposal of a draft Conference Resolution concerning the Technical Cooperation Programme (TCP), exchanges of views on potential reform processes, and presentations by the five candidates for the position of the Independent Chairperson of the Council (ICC), followed by a Q&A with the Plenary.  

The meeting reaffirmed the Group's active engagement in key policy and governance matters, as well as its commitment to addressing issues of particular concern to developing countries.
