On Thursday, 8 May 2025, the G77 & China, Rome Chapter, convened a Plenary meeting at FAO headquarters to prepare for the upcoming FAO Conference  (28 June – 4 July 2025), among other topics. The session provided an opportunity for Members to exchange views on priorities, challenges, procedural matters, and areas of common interest. Representatives discussed ways to enhance coordination and engagement within the Group. The meeting contributed to reinforcing dialogue and cooperation, as the Group looks ahead to key FAO Governing bodies meetings.
